The NEN TSA Microarray Labelling and Detection Kits allow researchers to use as little as 0.5-1.0 µg total RNA starting sample. This is a 100- to 200-fold decrease compared to conventional cDNA labelling protocols, and allows differential gene expression analysis on minute samples such as tissue biopsies. Part of a growing family of Micromax Microarray products, the NEN TSA Labelling and Detection Kits for glass cDNA microarrays are fully QC-tested packages, providing key reagents needed for differential gene expression analysis.

The NEN TSA Labelling and Detection Kits work with RNA from either tissue sources or cell lines, and provide significant improvements in accuracy and precision.

The kits allow two-colour fluorescent hybridisation on the same slide. Dual probe hybridisation ensures highly accurate ratiometric comparison of two RNA populations.

Three versions of the NEN TSA Labelling and Detection Kits are available: NEN Catalogue #MPS521 contains enough reagent for 10 labelling reactions; MPS522 allows researchers to conduct 40 labelling reactions. The Micromax Human cDNA Microarray System 1.1-TSA (MPS103) contains reagents for 10 labelling reactions, two 2400-gene microarray glass slides and two practice slides.
