Whatman has developed the UniPlate 400, a versatile addition to its range of specialist collection plates. It offers a high density 384 deep well format for high volume sample storage combined with heat stability and strength.

The UniPlate 400 collection plate is manufactured from medical grade virgin polypropylene for chemical resistance and low non-specific binding and extractables. It offers heat stability in use for heating and freezing and provides good sample visibility. Working well volume is 400 µL.

The high density plate has been designed to store the maximum number of samples without risk of cross-contamination. Each well is square, to maximise available volumes, with a rounded bottom to aid sample recovery and pelletisation. The corners of each well are specially shaped so that no wicking occurs and the septa between wells are thick enough to avoid leeching. This maintains well to well integrity and the purity of stored materials.

UniPlate 400 conforms to industry standards for use in most robots, manifolds, centrifuge carriers and racks. And for sample protection and security, a choice of self-adhesive or heat seals can be easily applied to the top of the plate.

UniPlate 400 collection plates are supplied in packs of 25.
