The Proteineer suite offers the combination of the two powerful high-throughput proteomics methods of mass spectrometry for the protein identification funnel paradigm.

Therefore, in addition to front-end sample preparation automation tools, consumables and robotics, the Proteineer concept offers the integrated use and adaptive intelligent acquisitions strategies for efficient protein identification by ultra-high throughput Maldi-ToF systems as a first protein identification assay, an optional Maldi-ToF MS/MS 2nd assay for a quantum jump in protein identification productivity, as well as robust high-performance ion trap ESI/MSn as a third assay for protein identification, determination of post-translational modifications, to obtain increased sequence coverage, for the identification of proteins in mixtures, and for protein quantitation.
