The Anton Paar SAXSess is a small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) instrument that can be used to analyse nanostructures present in all different kinds of samples, from liquids (eg, colloids, protein solutions) to solids (eg, polymer films, nanocomposites). It adds precision to scientific investigation and reliability to industrial analysis.
Some of the parameters SAXSess can help investigate include micelle size and shape; structural information of proteins in solution; inner structure; shape and/or size distribution particles; crystallinity; orientation and orientation distribution; specific surface (porosity); emulsion stability at different temperatures; and transfer kinetics of encapsulated agents.
