PCR Tissue Homogenising Kit

The Omni PCR Tissue Homogenising Kits allow for rapid and complete disruption of cell lysates to expose intracellular contents and increase yields. The PCR tissue homogenising kits offer a choice of autoclavable rotor-stator generator probes in (disposable) plastic and (reusable) stainless steel to suit a wide range of sample preparation applications.

Stainless steel generator probes are best chosen for difficult to process tissues and for situations where sample-to-sample contamination is not a concern.

Flat bottom probes are recommended for liquid or soft tissues, while saw teeth and extended blades are best for processing fibrous tissues.

Non-sterile plastic Omni tip generator probes are suitable for situations where molecular contamination between samples cannot be tolerated.

Omni tips are designed to be disposed of after each use, thus eliminating cross risks along with the time and effort normally required for cleaning stainless steel generator probes.

Each kit contains the Omni TH homogeniser which was designed for homogenising tissue samples from 0.3-1800 mL and offers variable motor speeds up to 30,000 rpm for handheld or post mounted operations.
