Watson-Marlow Bredel's 620 series pump offers high levels of performance, accuracy and output. It features a choice of drives, PIN process protection and minimal down time. 620 pumps are capable of 18 L/min and pressures up to 4 bar and have a control ratio of 2650:1.

The top-of-the range pump within the series, the 620Du, offers functionality such as automatic analog and RS485 digital control. Watson-Marlow's PIN secure process protection feature means that the 620Du set-up can then be safeguarded by two levels of PIN security.

Peristaltic pumps have several operational advantages over traditional positive displacement pump designs in biopharm applications. The biggest of these is that the pumped media remains contained within a sterile tube from source to delivery, and the pumps are low shear and self-priming. There are other benefits including low maintenance and long-term cost savings.
