The Mirella Research Softline Pipettor has been designed to fit into the palm of the hand. The large curved finger rest allows users to hold the pipette loosely, with the pipette hanging from the index finger.

This reduces strain in the lower part of the arm and allows for micro pauses during work. Coupled with a low activation force, the result is improved comfort and reduced risk of RSI.

The Softline series actively keeps the interior temperature constant by exchanging air whenever the plunger is activated. This results in more accurate pipetting during prolonged use.

The Softline Short series is suitable for work with microtubes or gel loading, allowing users to work with an elbow resting on the table, offering neck and shoulder relief. The Softline 'Short' is also suitable for working in confined spaces and other constricted areas.

Some of the features of the pipettors include: fixed and variable volume functionality; one hand volume adjustment and volume locking; full left and right handed adaptability; fully autoclavable, easy cleaning and maintenance; and O-ring on tip base for wider compatibility.
