Portable digital vibrometer

Polytec's portable multi-purpose non-contact vibration system, the PDV-100 combines optics and digital signal processing to measure surface vibration velocity without contact, utilising Laser Doppler Vibrometry (LDV) technology. The system yields good measurement performance, ease of use and long-term calibration stability in a portable and robust package.

The PDV-100 is designed for non-contact vibration measurements where mobility and durability are important: predictive maintenance of machinery; operating vehicles, trains or airplanes; buildings, bridges or other large outdoor structures; multi-purpose field testing; scientific expeditions.

The system's digital signal processing provides high performance with an improved velocity resolution and its digital signal interface to data storage or processing ensures data accuracy and minimises EMC interference.
