The Smart Cycler System from Cepheid is a versatile and efficient thermal cycler with precise real-time optical detection.
Each Smart Cycler processing block has 16 independently programmable sites allowing multiple users to run different assays simultaneously. Proprietary reaction tubes work together with the I-CORE Module thermal cycler/fluorometer to deliver rapid heating and cooling cycles, giving results in as little as 20 min.
The multiplexing capabilities of the unit feature 4 colour real-time detection. The system is expandable, up to 6 processing blocks can be linked for cost-effective system expansion.
