Stereomicroscopes

Clearly defined images, sturdy and hard-wearing technology, and easy operation of all function controls are all features of the new line of small stereomicroscopes from Carl Zeiss.

Four basic models are available to the user. The two entry-level models each feature two integrated fixed magnifications: the Stemi DR1040 has a 10x overview magnification and a 40 magnification for observing details, while the Stemi DR1663 features 16x and 63x magnifications.

The zoom system (magnification range between 8 and 32x) of the Stemi DV 4 is an optical highlight in this instrument class. The fibre optic illuminator additionally integrated into the front lens system of the Stemi DV4 SPOT ensures a fully illuminated object field at all times, making this instrument suitable for applications with special boom stands and in the OEM field.

These features are combined with the compact Stand C that allows the change between reflected, transmitted or mixed light at the press of a button.

Major accessories, such as the transmitted-light darkfield unit, equipment for direct measurements, and adapters for digital image documentation, have been tailor-made for these microscopes.
