Austral-Rad Mini-Plus + Gas is a multi-purpose survey meter to be used with optional external GM detectors, pancake probes and scintillators.
It includes a CMOS processor and auto range changeover.
A feature of the unit is an optional built-in gas sensor to alert the user to products such as alcohol, acetone, benzol, propane and carbon monoxide. Sensors for other lethal gases are available on request.
It has applications in nuclear medicine; industrial radiography; radiopharmacy; environmental; and industrial security.
The meter has a digital display with backlight; a soft membrane keyboard; a high impact plastic case; and is available in two versions: low range (L) or high range (H). Also available is the Student, an economy survey meter that also includes a CMOS processor and auto range changeover. It is primarily designed for educational and entry level users.
