The SynGene GeneFlash is a gel documentation and imaging technology that uses video technology combined with an integral colour LCD monitor to view images in detail in real-time.

Saving images to a mini CompactFlash card is now becoming the industry standard way of archiving digital data. This efficient data storage medium can be read by any PC or MAC using the flash card reader that is supplied with each GeneFlash system, opening up a range of storage and analysis options.

The GeneFlash system, which features a new style ergonomic SynGene darkroom with a large sliding door for unrestricted access, features a touch panel control pad that allows easy selection from the on-screen menu for exposure control, image presentation and saving options.

A range of options can add to the versatility of the GeneFlash for laboratories working with electrophoresis gels, spots, blots, colonies, membranes, films, plates and other media.
