Li-Cor Pearl impulse imager

The Li-Cor Pearl impulse imager provides real-time imaging and allows near-infrared labelled compounds with low diffusion coefficients to be visualised as they distribute to various regions of the body.

Agents which diffuse slowly from the vasculature, such as IRDye 800CW PEG, allow blood vessels to be visible for a period of time after administration. In addition, agents which are taken up by the lymphatic system can be monitored as they pulse to the nearest lymph nodes.

The imager features a compact footprint and portability and is part of the company’s range of imaging systems for Western blotting, DNA and small animal research, including the Odyssey Imaging System and MousePOD for in vivo small animal imaging.
