Andor Revolution WD spinning disk confocal system for live cell imaging

Friday, 01 March, 2013 | Supplied by: SciTech Pty Ltd

The Andor Revolution WD spinning disk confocal system offers spinning disk confocal to research fields using different sample types, which were previously unable to obtain maximum benefit from this live cell imaging technology. The addition of the WD to the Andor Revolution portfolio brings increased flexibility and breadth to the company’s solutions and more choice to researchers imaging live samples.

Offering four times the field of view, along with a new design for imaging at low and high power magnifications, the product offers good quality confocal images for larger samples as well as small. Also of interest is the depth to which one can now image while maintaining high-contrast images. This makes the product suitable for core facilities with a broad user base, appealing to fields such as neuroscience, developmental biology, stem cell research, embryology and intra-vital imaging.
