Excelitas X-Cite 110LED illumination system for fluorescence imaging
The X-Cite 110LED, by Excelitas, is a compact, white light LED light source for fluorescence imaging applications.
Providing excitation for DAPI, GFP/FITC, mCherry/Texas Red and Cy5 imaging, the product offers good field uniformity through liquid light guide delivery. With manual, PC and TTL control options, the system’s LEDs should run for 25,000 h with no lamps or modules to replace.
With a wavelength range of 360–660 nm, the unit is mercury-free and can be operated via USB, TTL or speedDIAL and has variable control options. It has a small footprint of 95 x 230 x 212 mm, thus requiring minimal workspace, and weighs only 3 kg.
