Monday, 20 September, 2004 | Supplied by: Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Electron Corporation has introduced the Nicolet Antaris IGS FT-IR gas analyser for multi-component gas analysis. The unit provides research-grade performance, speed and sensitivity in a package designed for industrial use.

A dedicated analyser for either 19" rackmount manufacturing or table-top laboratory use, the unit provides stability, method transferability, and high-speed data acquisition at high spectral resolutions required for real-time gas analysis.

With an extensive list of gas application calibrations, as well as an in-factory gas calibration laboratory, the instrument provides a wide variety of industry-specific gas analyses.

Custom calibrations are available.

Standard and customised gas calibration methods can be deployed for combustion gas analysis, fire science, compressed breathing air, aviators' breathing oxygen and air bag effluents.

Operation is controlled and automated with Result software that provides tools for routine analysis, method development, method transfer, operation set-up and automated data analysis, including OPC output.

The software includes the TQ Analyst method development package delivering tools designed for gas analysis. ValPro software provides automated system qualification capabilities.
