New Objective has released an LCMS source: the PicoView 500 series. Designed to fit the Finnigan series of ion trap mass spectrometers and optimised for low flow rate operation the sources provide optimum sensitivity for peptide and protein analysis.

They are designed to facilitate the use of New Objective's PicoFrit column technology, specifically for online nanoflow LC/MS/MS. These columns allow the coupling of a reverse phase chromatography bed directly to a frit which acts as the emitter for spraying into the LCMS system.

This all-in-one device maximises sensitivity by spraying directly from the column itself.

A range of accessories is available for the PicoView LCMS sources, including HPLC columns, spray tip emitters and sample preparation and clean-up devices. Sources are available for all the market leading LC-MS/MS systems.
