Aaeon Technology IP-67 Water-Proof Fanless Embedded Controller
Interworld Electronics has released the AEC-6511 IP-67 Water-Proof Fanless Embedded Controller from Aaeon Technology. The product is housed in a water-, dust- and corrosion-proof IP-67 stainless steel case with liquid-proof I/O connectors.
The device features an Intel Atom N270 1.6 GHz processor to provide a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient embedded computing platform. The AEC-6511 is equipped with one SODIMM socket supporting up to 2 GB of DDR2 system memory, one gigabit RJ45 ethernet connector, one USB 2.0 port and two serial ports for communication.
An internal 2.5″ hard drive bay and CompactFlash slot are provided for system and data storage. System expansion is also possible via internal Mini PCI and Mini Card slots, allowing options such as wireless LAN to be added to the system. The product provides a VGA video output to drive analog displays.
The device requires a 12 VDC power source. An optional AC power pack is available.
