Rescentris CERF is an electronic lab notebook software product suitable for R&D users in disciplines including biotech, pharmaceutical, clinical, research, forensics, government, universities, medical devices and engineering. It is a document management system that promotes sharing and collaboration with many levels of security that are easily configured by end users.

It contains a robust plug-in architecture, enabling end users to visualise many different scientific file formats directly in their notebooks. It includes training record management tools and discipline-specific modules including chemistry and inventory management.

These features are contained in an OS and database-independent application, providing cross-platform compatibility for Mac and PC users as well as satisfying an organisation’s IT infrastructure requirements.

It is claimed to reduce time spent managing and analysing information by 15-20% and improve productivity, quality and decision-making.

CERF is claimed to improve compliance, enable faster submissions and protect intellectual property.

It enables easy integration of laboratory data, locating of historical information, re-use of prior experiments as templates and supports diverse workflows.

In addition to the functionality within the CERF environment, Rescentris has a dedicated iPad application that allows direct connectivity to laboratory research.
