Samuel Sadoulet named president of Edmund Optics
Optical components provider Edmund Optics has appointed Samuel Sadoulet as its president. Sadoulet is currently chief operating officer of the company and will retain that title as he leads the company’s corporate technology, global engineering and manufacturing operations.
CEO Robert Edmund said Sadoulet has committed to the company’s doctrine of service, “becoming a champion of our company’s principle that service to customers is paramount”. He has worked across many divisions within the company - from front-line sales, to technology development, to manufacturing - providing him with wide-ranging experience.
“Sam’s focus on innovation across the organisation will enhance the customer experience as we move into the next phase of growth,” said Edmund.
Sadoulet is a member of the OSA, SPIE and the Automated Imaging Association. He holds an MS in optical sciences from the University of Arizona and a BS in physics from the University of Rochester, and recently received his Executive MBA from INSEAD.
