Trajan joins BioMelbourne Network
Trajan Scientific and Medical is now a member of BioMelbourne Network, an industry forum for the leaders of the Victorian biotechnology industry. The company is looking forward to strengthening its connections with local scientific organisations, business leaders and government.
Headquartered in Melbourne, Trajan’s focus is on developing and commercialising technologies that enable analytical systems to be more selective, sensitive and specific for biological, environmental or food-related measurements, especially those that can lead to portability, miniaturisation and affordability.
The company has three subsidiaries: SGE Analytical Science, Grale HDS and SciMed Precision. Robert Lyon, head of corporate development at Trajan, said, “We seek opportunities for each of our companies with their unique capabilities.”
Trajan CEO Stephen Tomisich added, “We hope our membership helps us to engage with other members to support and contribute to the success of the Australian scientific industry; in particular, biotechnology in Victoria.
“Through true customer focus and partnerships, we aim to make a positive impact on the world of analytical and medical science.”
