Shimadzu Performance Validation Software application note

Wednesday, 01 August, 2012 | Supplied by: Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (Oceania) Pty Ltd

Shimadzu has published an application note to illustrate the capabilities of its Performance Validation Software for improved GLP/GMP support.

Presently, validation of analytical instruments is a requirement in various regulations and standards; however, conducting instrument validation manually is a cumbersome task. The software for the new range of Shimadzu UV-Visible spectrophotometers conforms to various Pharmacopoeia Rules for Molecular Absorptiometric Analysis, as well as specific testing stipulated by the European Pharmacopoeia (EP), and US Pharmacopeia (USP) and Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP). Performance validation tasks involving condition settings and other complex operations are greatly facilitated with this software.

The application note is available for download at: http://www2.shimadzu.com/applications/UV/VIS/A439.pdf.
