For decades, Malvern Panalytical’s Zetasizer has helped scientists understand particle size, surface charge and molecular interactions. What distinguishes the latest Zetasizer Advance series from conventional dynamic light scattering (DLS) systems is its combination of patented measurement technology, easy-to-use intelligent data analysis and flexible automation.

Adaptive Correlation optimises measurement acquisition to deliver results quickly, while machine-learning-based data quality guidance helps users identify potential issues and interpret results with confidence. For more complex, multimodal samples, the Zetasizer Ultra incorporates patented multi-angle dynamic light scattering (MADLS), for enhanced resolution to identify and characterise multiple particle populations within a sample. For automation, Zetasizer Sample Assistant accommodates up to 120 samples for unattended analysis.

Across the Advance range, zeta potential analysis provides insight into particle surface charge and colloidal stability, while Zetasizer Ultra also measures molecular weight using static light scattering (SLS).
