Particle & Surface Sciences has announced that the EyeTech combines two single particle sizing methodologies - a dynamic laser technology and a dynamic video/camera technology - both on the same sample. Single particle sizing ensures high resolution and good results. Measurement of the samples is claimed to be closer to the nature of the sample compared with assembling technologies like laser diffraction.

The product brings size, shape and concentration data together to form a comprehensive blueprint of the user’s particle system. Its flexibility provides answers to all particle questions. It also includes the 21 CFR Part 11 compliant software with more than 40 shape parameters and the data output for size distributions in any format.

Applications include cement, ceramics, chemicals, catalysts, environmental and soil applications, energy and hydro fuel technology, food products, medical, paints, pigments, coating, ink, toner, fillers, pharmaceutical, water and more.
