Servicebio Cell CryoPreservation Tube Cryobox freezing container
Available from Pacific Laboratory Products, the Servicebio Cell CryoPreservation Tube Cryobox is a PLP-9005-8P non-reagent freezing container designed to achieve optimal post-thaw cell viability.
Engineered for controlled gradient cooling, the durable container is designed to replace traditional isopropanol (IPA) freezing boxes and operates entirely reagent-free — thus eliminating spill risks, recurring chemical costs and ongoing maintenance.
The container is formulated with a proprietary solid core that delivers a standardised -1°C/min cooling rate when placed directly in a -80°C ultra-low freezer — which is the gold standard for protecting cell integrity. This makes it suitable for high-recovery cryopreservation of standard cell lines, sensitive primary cells, stem cells and delicate cell cultures.
Manufactured with an impact-resistant polycarbonate (PC) body and a durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lid and tube rack, the container features 18 numbered slots for standard 1.2 to 2.0 mL cryogenic vials, to ensure easy sample tracking and rapid identification.
Other features include: it requires no liquid additives or maintenance baths; prevents chemical residue; eliminates tube label degradation; and offers unlimited reuse cycles without recurring solvent costs.
With a compact, stackable design, it also has intuitive graphical operating instructions printed directly on the container body.
