The BEL range of analytical balances by Aktivlab is manufacted by an Italian OEM and supplied with a certificate covering three critical tests.
The tests include: linear repeatability - the ability of the balance to give precise results at any point on the scale; corner load - the ability of a scale to give perfect results regardless of the position of the load; and thermo compensation - the results of a balance must account for variations in ambient temperature and humidity.
These units are tested and calibrated to be precise over a temperature range of 5 to 35°C with varying levels of humidity.
