The Smart pipette by Aktivlab are fully autoclavable and can be serviced or calibrated without special tools.
The super lightweight pipettes suit left or right handed users, ie, the display is centrally located and always visible. Its locking mechanism prevents accidental volume changes and the thermoplastic elastomer handgrip insulates pipette mechanisms from body heat.
They are said to require lower operating force than most pipettes and have a Teflon seal in place of O ring for precise and smooth operation.
The pipettes are available in all common sizes from 0.1 to 10,000 µL.
