Beckman Coulter MLA-50 High-Capacity Rotor for Optima MAX-XP Tabletop Ultracentrifuge
The MLA-50 High-Capacity Rotor for the Optima MAX-XP Tabletop Ultracentrifuge has a 194 mL capacity that allows more sample to be processed per run.
To expand the applications of this rotor further, g-Max tubes adapt small samples to the larger MLA-50 without sacrificing the g-force generated by the rotor, shortening separation time by up to 20%.
The rotor also accepts OptiSeal tubes, which do not require tools, heat or closure verification and have a wide neck that makes them easy to load and unload samples without puncturing the tube. Quick-Seal tubes, which seal with a simple, handheld tool and do not incorporate plugs or O-rings, can also be used.
The rotor runs on Beckman Coulter’s Optima MAX-XP Tabletop Ultracentrifuge, providing quiet performance, a customisable interface supporting multiple users, a compact footprint and instant, context-sensitive onboard help. The MAX-XP is a flexible benchtop ultracentrifuge and the versatile platform ensures optimal performance and safety. This is possible because labware, rotors and centrifuges are manufactured and tested as an integrated system.
