The GeneCopoeia Lenti-Pac HIV and FIV qRT-PCR Lentivirus Titration Kits are designed for quick and simple titration of lentiviral particles to determine virus copy numbers and to confirm the success of packaging reactions. The RNA genome of lentivirus is reverse-transcribed and quantified using qRT-PCR and SYBR green technologies.

Each kit contains all reagents necessary for RNA extraction, DNase I digestion (to eliminate lentiviral expression plasmid contamination), reverse transcription and QPCR analysis: RNAzol RT RNA extraction reagent; linear polyacrylamide; DEPC water; DNase I (RNase-free); DNase I buffer (10x); RNase inhibitor; reverse transcription enzyme; reverse transcription buffer (10x); dNTP; cDNA synthesis primer; qPCR standard (DNA); qPCR primer mix; All-in-One qPCR mix (2x).

Also available from GeneCopoeia are the Lenti-Pac HIV and FIV Expression Packaging Systems, which include: an optimised lentiviral packaging plasmid mix; an eGFP positive control plasmid; the transfection reagent EndoFectin, optimised for virus production; and TiterBoost reagent that further increases the titers five-10fold. When combined with GeneCopoeia ORF cDNA, shRNA or miRNA lentiviral constructs, the results are high titers and robust expression levels.
