GFL Tissue Float Bath

GFL’s Tissue Float Bath has been designed to stretch and dry cut tissue samples embedded in wax, used every day in histological, chemical, clinical and bacteriological laboratories.

The specialised bath is suitable for use within a temperature range from 5°C above ambient to approximately 80°C. With precise temperature regulation at a consistency of ±0.5°C, evenly stretched cuttings and uniform heating of unfolding sections are ensured.

Due to the black anodised bath, the samples are clearly visible. The cuttings are carefully dried on the heated glass panes on the rim of the bath, also black anodised.

The low bath height of 100 mm ensures comfortable and safe work and makes repetitious tasks easy. The panel is conveniently located on the front and features temperature control, two warning lights and the main switch.

The housing is powder-coated aluminium and a control thermometer is fixed to rim of the bath within a stainless steel holder. The product is tested according to the German Equipment Safety Law, with a CE mark. The bath weight is 2 kg, external dimensions are 280 x 100 mm and the tank dimensions are 200 x 60 mm.

The GFL dust cover is also available, which will protect the bath from dust when not in use.
