The Hydac FluidMonitoring System FMS is a ready-for-connection product for continuously measuring and monitoring particulate contamination, water saturation and temperature in hydraulic and lubrication fluids. The measured values can be shown on the integrated display or sent to a PLC as an analog signal. They are also stored with a time stamp.
It is also possible to transfer the measured values to a PC using the USB stick provided, where they can then be processed, analysed and printed using the company’s FluidMonitoring software, FluMoS or MS Excel. The FMS allows the user to save up to 80,000 measured values with corresponding times (ie, data is recorded over the course of six months with measurements in 5 min cycles).
The FMS provides a ready-to-use solution for measuring points of pressure >15 bar. The instrument is said to be easy to use, reliable and suitable for condition-based maintenance.
