The Hydac HMG 510 portable data recorder is a handheld unit for measurement and data capturing tasks involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Compact and claimed to be simple to use, the recorder is suitable for use in maintenance, commissioning and service.
Up to two sensors can be connected to the device using the company’s sensor interface (HSI). In addition to the sensors for regular measures such as pressure, temperature and flow rate, it can connect to Hydac Smart sensors that can provide several different measured values.
The recorder automatically recognises these sensors and takes all the necessary basic settings from each sensor. The measurement values and the corresponding physical unit are displayed on an easy-to-read LCD. In addition, the device enables measured values which have been saved in the Smart sensors to be uploaded to a PC.
Benefits include: quick and independent basic setting of the units by use of automatic sensor recognition; setting device for mechanical pressure and temperature switches; USB port for PC connection.
