The HBR 4 digital heating bath for heating and tempering uses low viscosity oil or water as the heat transfer fluid. The cylindrical bath has a volume of 4 L, a heat output of 1000 W and is made of high grade recyclable materials.
The product operates via fuzzy logic. The heating elements are situated underneath the bath vessel and an integrated magnetic stirring drive circulates the tempering fluid. This contributes to improved heat distribution.
The bath has several safety elements which are checked each time it is switched on. The unit is equipped with a double jacket and carrying handles for protection against burns. A safety temperature monitor, which has an adjustable limit, keeps the bath from overheating. A digital display presents the rated, actual and safety temperature, as well as the speed.
