IKA lab reactors are suitable for optimising and reproducing chemical reaction, mixing, dispersing and homogenisation processes on a lab scale. The reactors can be individually customised to perform numerous tasks, including production of crèmes and lotions, and the grinding and disintegrating of solids and fibres in liquids or polymers.
The LR-2.ST Package 1 consists of the following: stand system; laboratory stirring unit Eurostar power control-visc P7 with high torque; anchor stirrer LR 2000.11 with flow borings; safety shutdown; reactor cover. In the free connections of the reactor cover a dispersing unit (Ultra-Turrax), temperature sensors, flow breakers and other equipment can be installed.
Single- or double-walled vessels made from borosilicate glass or stainless steel are available, each with or without a bottom discharge valve. Seals in contact with the product are made of temperature-resistant FFPM.
The reactor is suitable for vacuum operation. The speed is infinitely adjustable, and through control actuated by microprocessor the set speed is held constant, even under load. The integrated torque trend display for the measurement of viscosity changes.
