IKA has a range of magnetic stirrers to handle various quantities, either with or without heating capabilities. Used with open or closed vessels, it is claimed the stirrers precisely and effectively regulate the set temperature with the help of a contact thermometer. They also enable multiple syntheses in up to 36 vessels simultaneously.

The product’s improved heat control technology, including integrated temperature control and the PT 1000 temperature sensor, allows for faster heating of medium while maintaining a high level of safety. The product includes a hot top indicator and protection cover H 100.

The stirrers allow self-monitoring of all safety features, as well as heating plates with two independent control circuits and easy-to-read displays. The set safety temperature limit is displayed digitally, as is the error code. Adjustable safety circuits allow for users to determine the heating plate temperature (50-360°C) and at which temperature the magnetic stirrer will automatically shut off; even then, the temperature and speed setting will continue to display.

The product includes improved magnetic adhesion and is said to require 25% less energy than other products. A strong motor provides a high range of speeds, while a highly polished aluminium heating plate allows for optimum heat transfer and an enclosed assembly (IP42) ensures long service life.
