IKA’s RV 10 basic V rotary evaporators are suitable for DIN EN 12697-3 (asphalt test for hot asphalt). They come with the integrated heating bath HB 10 basic (3 L) including space-saving vertical glassware (1 L), a cooling surface of 1200 cm² and a push-off mechanism to loosen tightly fitting pistons.

Safe and simple operation is provided through an ergonomically shaped operator unit in the front area. The product moves right and left in interval operation for the drying process and heats up quickly because of optimised bath volumes. The speed, digitally displayed, ranges from 10 to 280 rpm.

The units are equipped with a motorised lift (stroke 140 mm), which lifts the evaporator flask out of the heating bath if a power disruption occurs and avoids negative consequences such as boiling delays.

The heating bath includes an adjustable safety circuit, integrated carry handles with safe handling and a pivoting safety hood as an accessory. It can also be used in standalone operation.

Interval operation for optimal mixing, a smooth start from 100 rpm for a safe increase in speed, an end position setting for protection against the glass breaking and a timer function complete the safety package.
