Due to their broad spectrum of dispersing tools, IKA Ultra-Turrax dispersers are highly effective for a variety of uses, including homogenisation of effluent samples, dispersing tasks under vacuum pressure and PCR analysis. The digital display allows the user to keep track of the speed range, up to 24,000 rpm, starting softly.

The Ultra-Turrax Tube Drive allows the user to disperse, stir, homogenise and grind using a single drive unit with hermetically sealable disposable sample tubes. The gamma-sterilised tubes range from 2-15 and 15-50 mL, with pierceable membrane covers. The unit is suitable for individual use and use in series.

The sample containers (tubes) are easily attached to the drive unit. Desired speed and duration are set, then the test is started. An acoustic signal indicates completion. The tests are reproducible and there is no possibility of cross-contamination between the samples. Disposal is simple and safe.

The product has a high level of user safety, which is increased due to a low voltage of 24 V. It uses chemical-resistant plastic and there is no cleaning required. There is also an anti-locking function. Protection and security is provided for infectious sample materials, toxic substances and high-odour substances, under defined conditions (time, energy, volume).
