ISL Vida density meter

ISL’s Vida density meter can be used to analyse volatile to highly viscous crude oil and petroleum products.

Featuring user-friendly push-button operation, its in-built automatic bubble detection system removes the need for visual checks and also ensures that reliability is not affected by bubble size or sample opacity.

The meter combines an oscillating U-tube sensor (made of metal) with integrated Pt-100 sensors and Peltier elements. This ensures fast and reliable response to temperature variations, as well as, accurate temperature control across a wide temperature range 0 to +100°C.

An integrated ultrasonic cleaning device enhances solvent performance by cavitations. It also delivers: fast and efficient cleaning and drying; reduction of solvents consumption by 40%; easy removal of solute deposits; and, automatic cell cleanliness check.

An additional feature is its intuitive and user-friendly software that provides real-time test monitoring, clear test configuration and easy data management. The touch screen enables intuitive menu navigation, east test progress follow-up and straightforward test configuration.
