The Platinum UltraPak Bioprocess single-use containers can be used for packaging of cell culture media, reagents and buffers as well as containment and storage vessels for final product yielded from downstream manufacturing processes.

The containers with C-Flex tubing are an efficient, alternative solution to traditional rigid wall containers used for the handling of liquid media and buffers of product intermediates.

They are constructed with a proprietary, two-web polyethylene film and available in sizes ranging from 50 mL to 1000 L. Lonza is also able to design and construct a wide selection of sizes and configurations to meet exact project specifications.

The containers pass USP Class VI medical-grade and EP testing and have undergone a full line of freezing, brittleness and fitment/seal strength testing to ensure durability. The containers are gamma irradiated so no in-plant sterilisation is needed.

The contact layer is completely NAO, including slip agents.
