Rubotherm DynTHERM NANO high-pressure thermobalance
Rubotherm has released the DynTHERM NANO high-pressure thermobalance. The product combines ultrahigh sensitivity (0.01/0.1 µg) and robustness with a small internal volume and a broad measuring range. Its fast temperature and pressure control leads to good experimental results with low consumption of sample, measuring gases and time.
Besides the usual thermogravimetric analyser (TGA) applications, the device is beneficial for all experiments dealing with small samples and harmful or dangerous atmospheres. This is due to its magnetic suspension technology.
The DynTHERM NANO TGA is equipped with MFCs for feeding different measuring gases, a precise pressure control for experiments from vacuum to 8 MPa and an ultrafast furnace reaching heating and cooling rates of 300 K/min and temperatures up to 1100°C. Applications include: coal and biomass gasification; catalyst testing; high-temperature corrosion testing; pyrolysis processes; decomposition and degrading reactions; CVD coating processes; and O2 and H2 getter material testing.
