The SI Analytics Lab 850 and Lab 860 benchtop pH meters, available from LabFriend, combine several features into one powerful meter. The combination of sensor evaluation and calibration timer has the ability to examine all calibration-relevant parameters (buffer, electrode, curve slope, zero-point, time) and immediately indicate an error to the user.

The pH meters feature a measurement range from -2 to +19.999 pH, -999.9 to +999.9 mV and -1999 to +1999 mV, and a temperature range of -5 to 120°C. The bidirectional RS232C interface allows the user to store up to 800 data records. The products come with 3-point calibration and are good laboratory practice (GLP) compliant.

The instruments are designed for use in laboratories, testing facilities and home use; they require mains power and a stable benchtop. The pH meters has a large LCD which makes for easy reading, with a clock and intuitive plastic foil keypad. The 860 model also features a USB connection and 5-point calibration. This offers users the ability to download information directly through the connection onto a computer for easy manipulation and record keeping.
