Thermo Fisher Scientific enclosed temperature buffered sensor

The Thermo Fisher Scientific enclosed temperature buffered sensor is claimed to enable users to accurately monitor temperatures in freezers, water baths, incubators and refrigerators.

The bottle insulates the sensor from rapid temperature changes when the refrigerator door is opened and the unit fulfils all CDC thermometer and vaccine thermometer requirements.

A triple display simultaneously shows high, low and current temperatures and the min/max feature monitors high/low readings for any time period. The range is -50 to 70°C with a resolution of 1° and accuracy of ±1°C.

The alarm provides an alert when the temperature rises above or falls below a set point and is programmable in 1° increments. Visual and audible signals continue even if the temperature returns to non-alarm range.

The sensor’s 3 m micro-cable allows the refrigerator doors to close on it.

To ensure accuracy, an individually serial-numbered Traceable certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA (NATA recognised). It indicates traceability to standards provided by NIST.
