Add safety to pipetting

Tuesday, 07 April, 2009 | Supplied by: Alere Australia

Safe-Cone filters prevent contamination of the pipettor and the sample.

Regular use of Safe-Cone filters will prolong the service life of the pipettor by protecting the internal mechanisms. The pipettors are also protected from vapours and liquids which might otherwise enter the instrument, contaminating or damaging internal components.

Contaminated pipettors also pose an extremely high risk of cross-contamination of the sample. Safe-Cone filters are suitable for all liquid handling applications requiring safe, accurate and precise delivery of fluid samples.

The filters are available in two versions: Safe-Cone Standard filters for general work and Safe-Cone Plus filters for radioactive, cell culture or molecular biological applications.
