Amar Equipment’s range of stirred and non-stirred autoclaves are available in volumes from a laboratory benchtop 25 mL unit to production-scale 100 L or larger. Vessels are constructed in stainless 316, 316L, Hastelloy, Monel, Inconel, nickel, titanium, zirconium, tantalum or glass to resist the corrosive nature of some processes.

Autoclaves, also known as reactors, are used in the research and development of new chemicals and processes that are conducted at elevated temperature and/or pressure. Biofuels, polymerisation, hydrometallurgy, catalytic reactions, acid digestion, hydrogenation and esterification are key applications.

Increased productivity and efficiency for reliability can be achieved with ancillary parts such as stands and cabinets constructed of stainless steel, remote PC control and a variable speed zero leakage magnetic stirrer. To ensure safe operation and compliance, all pressure vessels are tested to ASME and Australian Standards.
