Driven by an AC induction motor with inverter drive, the Orbital 460 is capable of generating a maximum speed of 5500 rpm (RCF 5310 g) with the option of nine user-defined acceleration and deceleration profiles.
Navigation on the soft touch control panel is simple and intuitive with all user-defined parameters, including simultaneous rpm and RCF, displayed on a clear and easy-to-read LCD screen. Users also have the option of creating and storing up to 25 individual programs.
A wide selection of angle and swing rotors, carriers and adaptors is available, providing users with the option of spinning samples ranging from MTP up to 4 x 500 mL.
