Bertin Technologies Precellys 24 Lysis and homogenisation unit
The Bertin Technologies Precellys 24 Lysis and homogenisation unit facilitates high-throughput cell lysis and homogenisation of animal, human, microorganisms, plant or soil samples prior to DNA, RNA or protein extraction. It is designed to handle 1-5000 mg of soft or hard tissues.
The technology uses figure-8 multidirectional motion that provides a high energy level to the beads that process up to 24 samples simultaneously in a few seconds.
Three units are available for different volumes of samples: Precellys 24 (Cat No 03119.200.RD000) for up to 1 g samples/1.6 mL culture in 24x 2 mL; Precellys 24-Dual (Cat No 03119.200.RD010) for up to 1 g samples/1.6 mL culture in 12x 2 mL tubes or up to 5 g samples/5 mL culture in 6x 7 mL tubes; Minilys for low throughput - homogenises 3x 0.5 mL/2 mL tubes or 1x 7 mL tube.
