Brady’s laboratory identification products include labels sized to existing vial, tube, slide, straw and well plate sizes; labels that can be easily read by people or scanners every time; labels that withstand extreme conditions including freezer storage, liquid nitrogen, autoclave and hot water baths, staining protocols and deparaffinisation; and labels that are resistant to solvents including xylene, DMSO and ethanol.

The labels’ bar-coding capabilities - linear (C29, C128) or 2D codes (data matrix and more) - allow users to include more information on the sample and reduce human error.

Brady’s BBP11 label printer, used in conjunction with Brady laboratory identification products, is a solution for sample identification applications in life science, biotechnology and forensic research, as well as patient sample labelling in healthcare. Brady’s laboratory label material has good chemical and solvent resistance.

The Brady BBP11 is a compact desktop printer which provides high-quality thermal transfer printing suitable for laboratory labelling solutions. Its user-friendly design reduces time spent loading ribbon and labels and, with simple calibration, it’s easy to set up.

This printer is a solution for low-to-medium volume printing, while offering a printout speed of up to 5 inches/s. The standard internal ethernet port allows users to integrate the printer quickly into any application.

The BBP11 is available in 200 dpi and 300 dpi. BBP11 200 dpi is recommended for general applications, the BBP11 300 dpi is recommended for more detailed requirements such as 2D bar codes, fine text and complex graphics.
