Clements Orbital 360 centrifuge and Orbital 160 microcentrifuge

Clements, now part of Medical Australia, has launched an upgraded range of benchtop centrifuges.

One of the units, the Orbital 360, features brushless DC motor technology to achieve low maintenance and high performance. The unit is suitable for general laboratory duty with a highly visible LED display and touchpad control panel, easy program setting, and adjustable acceleration and deceleration settings for sensitive samples.

The machine has a variety of interchangeable rotors, both fixed angle and swing out, offering RCF ratings to a maximum of 4100 and RPM of 5000 with the option of selecting either parameter for display.

The Orbital 160 microcentrifuge also has a brushless motor, LED display and program versatility. It offers a range of fixed-angle rotors and a microhaematocrit head making it both versatile and productive.

The Orbital 160 can deliver a maximum RCF of 18,360 and maximum RPM of 16,500. Either RPM or RCF readings can be selected for display and control.
