Cogless AC servomotor

Wednesday, 08 April, 2009 | Supplied by: M Rutty & Co Pty Ltd

The absence of teeth in the MLL Series Non-Cogging AC servomotor results in no reluctance variation in the 360° motor rotation.

The system features: no motor cogging, since magnets do not have a preferential situation of static balance compared to classic stators with teeth; no current fluctuations caused by cogging and ripple; and no eddy current (Foucault current), which impacts on torque and generates heat spots.
