The ColorQA is a colour comparison device that digitally measures the colour of a target and then allows the user to sample any number of comparison colours to determine a match.

It is a lightweight, handheld, battery-operated instrument that can be used within numerous different applications and industries. Readings are taken with a simple push of a button and results displayed on the LCD screen.

The three colour zones measured by the standalone device are red, green and blue. It can also be equipped with the Pro System III software program, allowing colour comparisons to be shown in XYZ/Yxy, L*ab/L*ch, Std RGB or Std CMYK. The software also allows users to save results for record keeping, or export them to a CSV file for data manipulation.

The device will show colour variance percentage between two colours, allowing the user to determine if a colour is within the allowable variance requested.
